About these terms

These terms apply to the Still website and describe the features and services provided with the Still iPhone and iPad app, operated by Jaret Priddy. By using Still, you agree to these terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you do not agree, please stop using it. The native app is licensed under Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which controls the app license if there is a conflict with these terms. For questions, contact support@listenstill.app.

You must be able to enter into this agreement under the laws that apply to you. If you are a minor, use Still only with a parent or guardian’s permission and supervision.

Using the sound player

Still provides ambient sounds and mixing tools for everyday comfort, focus, and relaxation. It is not a medical device, treatment, or substitute for professional care, and we do not promise any particular sleep or health result.

Choose a comfortable listening level. Keep volume low enough to remain aware of important surroundings, and stop listening if it causes discomfort. You are responsible for your device, connection, and audio settings.

Playback and timer limitations

Browsers, network connections, and operating systems can interrupt or suspend playback, especially when a device sleeps or a tab is in the background. Keep the tab open if you want sound to continue.

The website’s sleep timer is a convenience countdown that fades or stops playback. It is not a wake-up alarm and must not be relied on for medication reminders, safety alerts, or other time-critical tasks. Playback and timers are not guaranteed to continue or execute while your browser or device is suspended.

The native app also offers a separate wake-up alarm on supported iOS and iPadOS versions, with your alarm permission. Availability and delivery depend on your device, operating system, permissions, and settings. Confirm that an alarm was scheduled and use a suitable backup for important wake-up times. Still is not intended for emergency or safety-critical alerts.

Access and purchases

The current website’s sound library and mixer are free to use. No account is required to listen on the public website.

The website does not sell Still Plus or process payments. In the iPhone and iPad app, Still Plus Lifetime is an optional one-time, non-consumable purchase. The App Store displays the price in your local currency and asks you to confirm the purchase. Apple handles billing and refund requests under its terms and applicable law. Use Restore purchases with the same Apple account to restore eligible purchases on supported devices. “Lifetime” describes a non-expiring purchase entitlement; it does not promise indefinite device compatibility or that the service will operate forever.

App purchases do not unlock additional website features or sync favorites and mixes to the website. Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies to the native app. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

Audio and other content

Still’s interface, software, and branding belong to their respective owners. You may use the provided controls to listen and create sound combinations for your own use. These terms do not transfer ownership of Still or its content.

Field recordings may be provided under Creative Commons or other third-party licenses. Author credits, original-source links, license links, and modification notices are available under Sound credits in the website player and under Settings → Sound licenses in the app. Those licenses govern reuse of the recordings; nothing in these terms reduces rights they grant. Listening through Still does not grant a broader license to unrelated content or branding.

Responsible use

Use Still lawfully. Do not attempt to bypass access controls, interfere with other visitors, overload or damage the service, introduce harmful code, or infringe another person’s rights. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address misuse, security issues, or legal requirements.

Privacy and external services

Our Privacy Policy explains local app and browser storage, purchases, alarms, service providers, and optional browser-assistant controls. Third-party websites linked from Still have their own terms and privacy practices. We do not control their content or availability.

Availability and responsibility

We may update, change, or discontinue features. To the extent permitted by law, Still is provided “as is” and “as available,” without a guarantee of uninterrupted service, fitness for a particular purpose, or specific results.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of, or inability to use, Still. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or takes away mandatory consumer rights. No provision requires you to waive rights your local law protects.

Changes and contact

We may revise these terms as the service changes. Updated terms will appear here with a new effective date. Material changes will be highlighted on the website, with additional notice or agreement where required. You can stop using Still at any time.
